Remainder of Mitte´s
squatting era
Zosch14
Why locals love it
Zosch is one of the last unspoilt bars in the otherwise quite touristy Mitte district. Its unpolished charmes keep away the hipster crowds and that´s just what locals like when they are up for a cool beer and some table football.

Why you should visit it
After the fall of the wall Mitte was squatter’s paradise. Back then people just grabbed some tables, chairs and cool beers and opened a bar. The owners of Zosch did exactly that. Today you can still indulge in the worn-down atmosphere of those earlier times.
Special tip
Zosch has a basement where they often feature concerts of small alternative bands from jazz to folk to punk. Check their webpage for listings.
