Take a ride on the shortest cable railway in Switzerland and the second shortest in Europe. The "Marzilibähndli" takes barely one minute for the 31 meters. It connects the federal council house with the cute quarter "Marzili".
The railway got restored but you can still exhibit the ancient wagons right at the bottom of the ride. This railway gets used quite a lot, especially in summer. A reason for this is the free entry outdoor swimming pool which is located right in the quarter of the Marzili which is connected to our river Aare - a must for the summer vibe.
You can also buy the best ice-cream in Berne there. In the Gelateria di Berna.
