Why locals love it
This little mountain with a stunning view over the city and towards the alps is very close to the city centre and at the same time you feel like you are in the middle of the countryside! It is a short tram ride to the station of the cablecar to its top.
Why you should visit it
Very calm surroundings attracting families with children, hikers, mountain bikers (official downhill-track!), or just people who want to enjoy a peaceful moment. There is also a restaurant on the top. It is also nice to walk down to Köniz, Kehrsatz or Wabern.
Special tip
If you like downhill biking, check out the track! The cablecar has a special compartment for mountain bikes.
