Take N Uber....or a taxi.... but if you yaje the taxi I suggest you to dienload and use an app call tapsi. Ggat wsy you could pay with crefit card and avoid any extea charges that your “friendly” cab driver might want to add to your trip due to your foreign look/accent.... sadly it sometimes happens.

Bus is cheapest (less than 1 dollar) but you have to know a little bit the city, I will recommend you to ask for a taxi (app Tapsi) or also you could use Uber (Uberx is a good option). Price could be around 4-7 US Dollars depending on traffic.

Hello,

Well it depends the day and the hour of your trip. If it's before 5 pm you can use the Bus/train its called Transmilenio http://www.transmilenio.gov.co/

Because with light its safer.
If it's after 5 please use an uber or from Zona Roza go to a mall called Atlantis and get a cab in front of that mall.

If you go to la Candelaria try not to leave too late in night it can become a bit dangerous if you leave the tourist area... (and the limit its not that clear to be honest)

If you have any more questions please contact me directly or call me

Taxis in Bogota are really cheap if you compare their rates to any city in US or Europe. So I rather take a taxi. Buses in Bogota are a really shitty means of transportation. Only to be used due to extreme budget considerations. Besides there are several applications that you can download on your mobile phone to request a taxi service such as Tappsi or Cabify, which allow you to pay cash and guarantee a safe ride. Enjoy the city

During the evening take taxi or uber, during the day go to 11th Avenue in front of shopping mall Andino. Just go to the bus stop and ask which bus is ok for you to take. For some busses you need a transportation card, others you pay with cash. It can take around 30 minutes in rush hours.

Hi! Get a Taxi or Uber at night. There is a safe taxi stop at 80 street in front of El retiro Shoppinh mall. During the day you can get a bus in front of Andino Shopping Mall, just ask at the stop which bus is fine for you to take

Hey! Depends on the moment, let’s say if it is raining it will be more expensive cause it gets difficult to catch one. Do not take taxis from the street unless authorized points. Download Tappsi, best app with fair prices and very safe

We are staying in La Candeleria but want to go to Zona T for a bit at night. Should we take an Uber to where? And then a Uber back? Is there shops and stuff open too? I will be traveling w my kids so just like to walk around at night but not too late
Hi Allison - we used the app Tappsi to get around - it's Taxi app super easy to use. Lots of restaurants ect where open at night. not sure about shops.
