Why locals love it

Locals prefer this place to spend weekends out of dynamic Bogotá. This little town is located in Boyacá, the department next to Cundinamarca (Bogotá). The village is very picturesque, colonial style and it is full of history as it is the land of Antonio Ricaurte, a captain of Bolívar's army, patriot of the Independence of Colombia and Venezuela.
