There is a reason why Bologna is also called "The red city". With the visit of this panoramic terrace, you'll figure out why. It has been open since 2015, after that some reconstruction works began in San Petronio cathedral. As locals, we wanted to support one of our main symbols and discover this unusual scenery.

Enjoy a unique view of Bologna from the new San Petronio's terrace. OPEN ONLY IN SPRING/SUMMER. Gain access through the back of the cathedral in Piazza Galvani, climb the stairs (or use the elevator) and have a glimpse of the city. It's part of a project born in 2015 to help raising funds for some important reconstruction works.
Before climbing to the top, you have to register yourself and pay 3 euros. This sum is part of the fundraising
