Arnold Arboretum

Why locals love it

Arnold Arboretum is stunning. The grounds are open from sunrise to sunset each and every day of the year. Technically, the land is a research and educational institute. This means that there are knowledgeable docents available to give tours for laymen as well as collections of living species available to those conducting research.

Why you should visit it

Arnold Arboretum is an intimate, breathtaking botanical experience. Unlike other botanical gardens, Arnold Arboretum has an intensive slant on education as well as an estate in a four-seasons place, meaning it's worth visiting quarterly. Photographers, bird-watchers, and fauna/flora fanatics will be overstimulated at any time of year.

Special tip

Tours are only available on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Thursday. Be sure to check out the tours online.
