Founded in 2008 by a material science grad from (surprise, surprise) MIT, Clover Food Lab is a visionary model of what fast-food can become. "Design" and "pioneer" are words locals can become allergic to up and down Mass Ave, unless, of course, the design is a true revelation. Clover Food Lab is a new way of conceiving local, fresh, fast meals.

Why you should visit it
If you want something on the fly, locally known, and quintessentially American, Clover is the place for you. With organic and local ingredients, NO artificial enhancers in any food, NO back-of-the-house, NO freezers, and 100% compostable goods, this is truly a lab, hopefully to be studied and replicated by others in the industry.
