Allston has a reputation for being both trashy and lovable--chock full of hipsters, students, and bars. There are plenty of dives, but the Deep Ellum/Lone Star hold on the block has given city goers an excuse to get on the B-line.

For brunch, there's huevos rancheros, jalapeño corn cakes, and moronga done right. For nighttime, it's tacos and cocktails. Lone Star is a great alternative to the bro-ey bars surrounding it.
