Taking its notes mostly from Turkey, Oleana is one of Ana Sortun's most famed endeavors yet. For the foodie, Oleana hits the most important points: many tastes as the plates are small and for sharing, cultural suspension of disbelief (Turkish rugs, garden patio, etc.), and a learned meal (with a glossary of new food words from the greek/arabic).

If you want a taste of Boston and a taste of ethnic, Oleana is the right spot. It's fine dining with an ethic. The ingredients are sourced locally from Sienna Farms. The wine list is small and intentional to compliment the spices and flavors--from za'atar to barberry to toum and the like. Oleana is beloved and known for food and atmosphere.
Especially good for vegans and vegetarians with a gorgeous, long-winded list of mezedes. You'll feel you're in Turkey/Northern Greece in one bite.
