^^ Solid advice. There's also a Legal Seafood across the street from the New England Aquarium (Long Wharf), which is convenient to many downtown attractions like Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market. And the North End in general has good options, including the one Patrizia mentions below.
You are very centrally located with 20 restaurants within 2-3 blocks. A short walk to Chinatown and many additional places to eat and explore. A high end favorite a block from your hotel is Bistro du Midi. Montien, a Thai restaurant that I have frequented many times, is down the block. In the Transportation Building on Stuart are a number of casual places. Have fun. The food on average in Boston is better than in Tel Aviv! But I haven’t been there since 2015:

Need more information since their are hundreds of restaurants. Where will you be staying? How old are your kids? What food do they like/dislike? Price?
