River Gods

Why locals love it

Just off the beaten path between Central Square and Cambridgeport, lies River Gods, a neighborhood hole-in-the-wall. And like any good neighbor, River Gods is always there. Even amidst the recent, epic winters to befall Massachusetts, River Gods was one of the only establishments open to patrons willing to make the trek.

Why you should visit it

Full of found art, River Gods is truly local. Featuring a local favorite burger, a vegetarian menu, kitsch bar space, DJs, and almost Game of Thrones worthy chairs, this eclectic corner spot is a favorite for all who live in the vicinity. Besides the burger, some house favorites include their various skewers with dipping sauces and veggie delights.

Special tip

The decor and good company make River Gods especially great for Halloween if you're looking for something a bit more upscale and intimate.
