Skip the crowds at nearby Quincy Market to try Saus; a hip, independent, quick serve restaurant founded by local college grads. Great for a quick lunch, after dinner drinks/snacks. They're also open til 2am for your greasy food fix. Voted the best fries in Boston.

It's small and the staff offer a very personal experience. They serve Belgian pomme frites, scratch made dipping sauces, sweet waffles a totally unique sandwiches called the Frik, a ground beef and pork sausage sandwich in several styles. They also serve extremely hard to find draft and bottle beer with a focus on local craft and euro imports.
Go for the poutine, then add a deep fried egg, pork belly or stout braised beef). It's served with french fries, cheese curds and delectable gravy.
