These days everyone seems to love sushi, but few more so than the thousands of Californian's who come to Boulder to attend university or to visit students. Consequently Boulder has a few sushi restuarants. Though Hapa may be far from the most authentic, it's undeniably the most fun.
Why you should visit it
Unabashedly catering to raw fish novices, the menu is seperated into 'beginner' through 'advanced' sections. The playfulness extends to the original rolls, nearly all of which are named after some sexual reference (multiple orgasm, foreplay, booty call and so on). Don't let all the joking fool you though, there's some serious talent in the kitchen.
Special tip
Happy hour offers great deals on unique cocktails and simple sushi rolls. The fusion menu also incorporates noodles, sliders, nachos, salads and more.
