The Boulder location is well situated on a quiet tributary of the Pearl Street Mall, and just homey enough to feel quaint, cozy and full of authentic Southern hospitality. You'll have to wait a while to be seated, but will be greatly rewarded for your patience.
Why you should visit it
1,200 miles from Louisiana, Lucile's generous helpings of shrimp and andoullie sausage, pan fried trout, poached eggs with hollandaise and of course grits will transport you instantly to the bayou. All dishes are aromatically spiced, and can be kicked up with the home made hot sauce. Nearly every meal also comes with a divine buttermilk biscuit.
Special tip
They make a mean bloody mary, the beignets are heavenly, and the Eggs New Orleans are a vegetarian's dream come true.
