A hardware store certainly isn't your typical tourist destination, then again this isn't your typical travel guide and McGuckin's isn't your typical hardware store. This local institution sells nuts and bolts no doubt, but also living flowers, art supplies, brewing equipment, lawn flamingos and just about anything else you can think to name.
Why you should visit it
If you need it, chances are McGuckin's has it. If not, the exceptionally friendly and knowledgable staff won't hesitate to point you in the right direction, even if that means the nearest competitor. Honestly the inventory here is so expansive that if you have a slow afternoon to kill, just browsing in amazement can be mildly entertaining.
