Why locals love it
The two-level outdoor patio of Sanitas Brewing feels as comfortable and inviting as your own backyard- only cooler. This quiet spot in an industrial neighborhood of east Boulder has views of the namesake Mount Sanitas, partly overgrown train tracks, an indoor/outdoor bar, lawn games and a small garden. The interior is also pretty sleek.
Why you should visit it
Few combinations are as pleasant as good weather, good people and good beer. Sanitas offers all these, plus the intermittent entertainment of yelling at a passing train. For slightly more active entertainment toss a beanbag or a bocce ball, or stroll around the garden of apples, corn, pumpkins, and hops that will go into the falls brews.
Special tip
The patio is also served by a superb taco truck every day but Friday.
