The first destination on our list is Bran Castle, a location with a history of more than 6 centuries, more commonly known as Dracula’s Castle.
You will then visit a quaint village located at height of more than 1,000 meters. This land is a true piece of heaven, being surrounded by some of the most important Carpathian Mountains, such as Bucegi, Leaota, Piatra Craiului, and Postavarul.
Next, we will head to the Bats’ Cave, located in the north-west of the Bran platform, at an altitude of approximately 950 meters.
You will take a visit to Fundatica, an area located at the highest altitude in Romania. In this place, the fresh mountain air keeps the locals healthy, and the average lifespan of more than 80 years serves as a testimony to this claim.
After a delicious traditional lunch, you will start a trekking journey towards a traditional sheepfold, where you will see how the sheep are milked and how the local cheese is produced, following methods and traditions passed down from generation to generation.
At last, we will catch the sunset in Brasov, where we will visit the city’s Old Town, a place which preserved the layout of its streets as well as its medieval fortifications.
