Bratislavians are very proud of their city hockey club (HC SLOVAN) and they do love to show it. T-shirts, scarfs, flags and stickers with the hockey team logo are likely to be spotted in the street of Bratislava even when no match is going on. Beautiful, newly reconstructed ice-hockey stadium close to Bratislava city centre is always full!
Why you should visit it
To be a part of a crowd driven ahead by local fanatics’... it is the greatest fun. Especially when your team is playing against a stronger one with a higher budget and with world class stars as Kovalchuck, Radulov or Satan :)
Special tip
The matches with Lev Praha are charged with extra energy as the two nations were united under The Czech-Slovak Republic in the past.
