Pisztoryho palác - Things To Do in Bratislava - LikeALocal Guide

Why locals love it?

The palace was built in the 2nd part of the 19th century in mixed architectural style known as eclecticism. The building embodies our history of the 20th century - during World War II it was the seat of the German Embassy, later it became the Museum of Lenin.

Why you should visit it

The building wasn´t used for a longer period of time until they started with its renovation a few years ago. Today there are different theatrical performances running in its premises and, apart from this, it serves as cinema (Kino Film Europe) offering high-quality works of European cinematography.

Special tip

Enjoy a movie surrounded by an air of Slovak history and admire architectural details of this historical building at the same time.
