A bus to Vienna might cost about 5 eur one way, return train ticket about 12 eur and return train ticket with public transportation ticket for Vienna (valid only for the same day when you come to Vienna) was about 17,50 eur a few years ago.
For Budapest return train ticket is about 18 eur, one way 17 eur. A Bus to Budapest is about 9 eur one way.

The best option is a bus. Go to www.regiojet.sk Buses to Vienna Hauptbahnhof go every hour from Autobusova Stanica (station 32) from 4:30 til 19:30 and the cost is 5€ :) Buses back go from 6:25 til 22:25. Regiojet has also buses to Budapest from Autobusova stanica, I’m not Sure about the times but the ticket costs 9€. There is also SlovakLines bus company but i honestly don’t recommend them - bus drivers are mostly mean and sometimes even aggressive towards the passengers, they also don’t speak English there. There is also train connection to Vienna but it’s more expensive, i think it’s 15€ now.

There is a bus going to Vienna every 30 minutes and the price is from 5€ to 5,50€. You can check the bus to Vienna on www.slovaklines.sk or www.regiojet.sk. I am not sure about the transport to Budapest but I believe the best option is to go by train. Check www.cp.sk for more details.
