Thanks. But any areas outside of old town where local crowd gathers? Or is old town the main area still?
There are cool places all around Bratislava, mostly in the old town and the close outskirts...
My personal tips
- bistro Vanesa at Nedbalova street - used to be a bar only for regulars, old artists and so, but now it became quite a hipster place with cheap alcohol
- A4 - cultural space at Šancová street near Main train station in the old YMCA building - an alternative culture "niche"
- bisto the Peach at Mariánska street - cool bar owner, good atmosphere, good bistro food, they often stay open until they have guests
- Doska bar at Svoradova street - a small hidden bar full of young students of performing arts (the school is on the other side of the street), often gets really crowded, sometimes they sing and dance in one meter square and just share the excentric energy of young to-be-artists

KC Dunaj :
Stupavar :
Kontakt :
Thanks a lot
If you want to go to a real hipster cafe try Next Apache or Exit. The whole Old town is a hipster neighbourhood, but there are not any specific areas where you would find only hipsters.

Hey there,

I would say, we have few bars in the city center like Urban House or La Putika, but thats not real Slovak tradional..taste. If u r looking for our own history and culture try to visit Petrzalka and choose for example ALFA, they have best ribs u ever tried. Well if u r scare, ask some Local friend to go with u or show u around in Tripasky Local Experiences. It's new app for traveling.
Take care.
