we will be there from 21. till 26 of september. And I was wondering what can we do for fun or to just be amazed by something and come back with interesting stories. We are a small group of friends who like culture, meeting new people, nature, getting new expiriences, FOOD :P. We are not into hardcore partying but we like everything else. So if anyone has suggestions im open for ideas :). We are also prepared to take a one day trip out of Bratislava if there is something worthwhile to see. I know its a bit early but i like to be prepared :)

Hello, my suggestion for culture and nature would be to go see the Devín castle, which is almost in Bratislava (public transport goes there). Also it is nice to climb the hill where the Bratislava castle is with very nice view of the whole city. Also the historical center is nice to see, you can get lunch there or maybe only some small meal to go (for example in Orbis street food or others). If looking for some small hike in nature, there is a Kamzík hill with the TV station (that high tower on top of the hill). You can get there by walking through the Železná studienka valley and then up on the hill. And one should not forget to have a look at the Dunaj river. You can also join some of the events in the V-club (V-klub). They offer a variety of different dancing, music, exercise, folklore events organized by young(er) people. If you like large and old castles, you can have a one day trip by train to Trenčín castle, or some other castles nearby Bratislava as well. There is also a possibility to go to Hainburg in Austria, a very nice small town with a castle as well (public transport bus goes there from under the bridge Most SNP in Bratislava). Fun thing to do might be also to try bungee from the bridge Most SNP. Or you can try the yoga/acroyoga sessions in some of the parks in the city center. Hope you will have a nice stay in Bratislava :)

thank you for taking your time and writing this it really is gonna help :)
Since you will be in Bratislava in September, there will be wine festivals around the city (mostly in suburbs) - people drink young wine there which is super sweet but also you can get drunk from it super fast. Also if you like art there is great gallery of modern art called Danubiana which is located in the south of Bratislava on the Danube river - you can get there by a bus. For good food try bistros like St. Germain, Soho, U Kubistu or a local burger restaurant Regal burger (a good tip - do not go to restaurants that show pictures of their meals in front of them). For ice cream go to Koun - there usually is a long waiting line but its worth waiting.
