Local things to do from 24-28 of may?

Hi. We stay at the hotel 'Elisabeth Old Town' in 2 Klemensova, Stare Mesto from 24th of may until 28th of may. Is there something we realy most see? Or is there something special: a (local) concert, festival,... at that time? Any bar/restaurant in the area that is recommended?
Thanks,
Henk and Hilde

Hi Henk,
your hotel is perfectly located. Really close to you is the Blue Church - my favourite building in Bratislava and the promenade next to Danube river. I recommend to walk around the Old City which is in walking distance from your hotel. The Old City is not big but it offers nice historical buildings, narrow streets, restaurants, bars... Visit the Bratislava Castle as well, as there is great view on Bratislava.
As for concerts, at that time (26.-27.5.) there is open air student festival called "Bazant na mlynoch", where you can discover typical Slovak popular bands, enjoy the atmosphere, food and drinks. You have to take the bus 31, 39 to get there. Here is the location: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Star%C3%A9+Grunty,+841+04+Karlova+Ves,+Slovakia/@48.1604925,17.0723466,15.18z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x476c8b926653c6cf:0x8e0ae48254e28042!8m2!3d48.157665!4d17.0690617
Enjoy our city :)

Thank you for the tips, Lenuska! Also lovely: a festival with local bands!
on the 25th there is a free concert in Vienna from the philharmonic orchestra. its at the Schönbrunn castle.

For Bratislava: Castle, Old Town, President Palace, Riverside, Devin Castle ...
If you don't mind taking the bus for an hour: Meulensteen Museum ( on the weekends you can take a boat there!)

Oh: that Meulensteen Museum looks marvellous: thank you! Where can we take the boat, Jana?
I can highly recommend it! It's been a wonderful afternoon spend there! They have a beautiful exterior area as well and you can enjoy a coffee next to the river bed :)
