Bratislava castle hides a unique place deep in the rock below.In Theresian times,several tunnels were burrowed inside it.During Communism the tunnels became a nuclear bomb shelter for the city.In the early 90’s one of these tunnels became the home of the first club with electronic music in Slovakia and it quickly became a cult place
Why you should visit it
Special atmosphere of the tunnels drawn deep in to the bowels of Bratislava’s landscape, from where you can feel the pathos of history. This is a great place to relax after a whole day spent sightseeing. The music booms till early morning, the prices are fine and everyone inside is smiling :)
Special tip
While you’re there try a couple shots of Borovička (slovak national spirit) and just let the body groove to the music
