Brisbane Festival (#Brisfest) brings together international acts like London Grammer (2017) and Aussie acts like Megan Washington (2017) and puts on gigs as well as circuses, theatre, art installations and exhibitions and lots of free shows on the streets of Brisbane.

Why you should visit it
For something unique, high quality and fun to do any night of the week, September is the time to visit Brisbane with this awesome festival on. There are fantastic acts, stunning shows and lots of cool food places along Brisbane's famous South Bank precinct. You'll be busy every night for the month. Not to mention the finale: Riverfire!
Special tip
On the last day of the festival, Riverfire goes off. The Brisbane River is lit with a stunning fireworks display, food, music and light shows!
