Located on the top of the hill and surrounded by mountain river from one side and forests from the others this lovely castle is a beautiful treasure of Brno region. Veveří Castle has a history, picturesque views and a spirit of tiny adventure. Winston Churchill spent here part of his honeymoon, so come on!
Why you should visit it
It's an ideal place for half a day trip from Brno. The easiest way to get here is to catch a boat from Bystrc and it will bring you to the castle. By the way, Bystrc is a key recreational area in Brno - there are a lot of cafes and restaurants on the shore of the lake - you will definitely feel like a local this day.
