Why locals love it

It is one of those typical cafés in Brussels (created in 1903) like the Corbeau or the Bonnefooi, where you basically are sitting in the first cafés ever created in Brussels. It is quite cool for people who are passionate about decoration: high walls, wooden columns and really old yet lovely and warm atmosphere!

Why you should visit it

Just to tell your friends you have actually been in one of the oldest places of Brussels! It is worth also for artists to visit, because it is part of what is called the "Art Nouveau", a phenomenon in the early XX century.

Our poor Falstaff has had a rough time. One of the origianl cafes of Brussels and was featured in the movie The Danish Girl. A really lovely example of our art nouveau history. Brasserie style and touristic as you mightr expect, but we have some famous regulars who visit everytime they are in Brussels.
