Besides sights:

Wander around, peek into little alleyways & discover parks, hidden away and to quench your thirst: drink in little old cafés, Le Pouchenellekelder, is a good example, next to the Manneken Pis. If you have no clue what to try, just tell the waiter wich flavours you like & he will help you pick out a nice one for you. Another nice little old café is the Goudblommeke in papier, the oldest still working pub in Brussels. Or you coudl try the Cirio, next to the stock exchange market. A la Bécasse has their very own beer. It's somewhat hidden, but it's a great place to have a Brusseleir (slice of bread with white cheese & radishes) for lunch with a pitcher of their finest geuze.

Food & drinks are an important part of society in Belgium; when we gather there is always food & beer. :) If you want to try some local cuisine, you could go to the Fin de Sciecle, or Den Talurelekker, a bit fancier is Les Brigittines, for breakfast go to one of the Pain Quotidiens you'll see around (I prefer the one on Sablon) or the Tout Bon.

Snacks to try: fries with stoofvleessaus & mayo, chocolates from a chocolatier (so many to be found, the Sablon is considered their headquartes these days), waffles (2 kinds; the ones with sugar melted inside; gaufres de Liège & the gaufres de Bruxelles, which are lighter & topped with whatever your heart desires), cheeses & charcuterie while drinking beers, koffiekoeken before noon, ...

Eat, drink! savour & I wish you nice weather!!
