Hi, there is lots of information here. Including the orange tours that visit the Royal Palace. Hope this helps. http://www.arnolds-attic.co.uk/2017/05/a-whistle-stop-visit-to-brussels-beer.html

I agree with what Julie has written.
The first palace in the center of Brussels, is where King Filip works. Normally he comes every working day there to work.
The second palace is in Laken. That is where King Filip and his family lives and sleeps. His father, the former King Albert, lives also there in the neighbourhood, on the other side of the street.

The royal palace is in central brussels on place des Palais - right next to the Parc Royale park. closest metro stops are 'parc' or 'trone'. The palace opens to the public for a few weeks a year.

there is a second palace in Laeken - on the outskirts of the city, which is the private residence of the royal family https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Castle_of_Laeken
the palace is not open to the public but the greenhouses open for a few weeks a year.
