Hi! There's indeed an additional fee you have to pay if you travel to/from Zaventem station. But by the train it's definitely the fastest/cheapest way to get to Bruges!

The Zaventem airport station at the airport. In the city of Zaventem there is also a station, but that's not the station you need...

Hi there,

You could check Flixbus as wel, I just saw they have tickets for 1/2 the price of a train ticket.

A trainticket costs a little bit over €20,00 (one-way) on weekdays, but has weekend deals. If you are more than 1 person -26 years planning to make multiple trips by train, I would strongly recommend the Gopass. You than pay €52 for 10 trips, just the airport fee is not included.

Price of flixbus depends on the moment of your reservation. The more in advance you make tour reservation, the cheaper. Flixbus is slower than than the train though.

You could have a look on Blablacar too. It's like carpooling/carsharing, but trips are limited from the airport to Bruges. You might not find one now, but consider for other trips between big citiesin Belgium. They are cheap.
