It was a great time. Sofie is quite prepared, funny to be around and explained very well not just the recipe but culture of the waffle. I will cook the recipe again and again :)

This was so fun! We got lots of info about the differences in the two types of Belgian waffles, as well as tidbits about other types. Short tour (which was great because it was freezing cold) but long enough to give us great info and ideas for places to try more... not that we needed it because we were allowed to make as many waffles as we wanted and took them with us to eat for days. There were nearly a dozen different toppings to try, which were just as fun as the waffles themselves.

Fun experience but a little pricey
I had a great time at this workshop. I went by myself as I was waiting for my friends' plane to arrive in Brussels. I think it would be super fun with a group of friends that you all know. I felt like I paid a lot for waffles that you can get on the street for 5 euro. Next door they were doing the chocolate workshop and I thought that looked more fun. Also, I think it would have been way better if we were offered beer as our waffles cooked. However, they were the best Brussels waffles I had while I was in town though!

Fun workshop but a bit expensive for what you learn/get
Had this workshop last Feb with a friend. We were four to make one recipe of waffles and then eat it with toppings. I was expecting more information about history. But it's a nice activity to do with friends or family !

Friendly guide, tasty waffles.
So much fun! Quick tour past some waffle shops and fun facts about waffles and the local industry and right after; the workshop. Nice setting and enthusiastic, young woman as a guide/instructor. Well organised and easy workshop. We were teamed up with two Italians, lucky all were nice people, willing to share tasks and have fun together. Two improvements I can recommend is more ventilation in the room (bring extra clothing cuz you will smell like a waffle for days!) and the bathroom needs very serious cleaning. Thanks Effi (sp?) for the great afternoon! We recommend!

Totally worth it!
It was a super fun tour and we got to make some delicious waffles! I only had one little problem. I booked the tour, paid for it, and then was told it was too full. Luckily, I was free on one of the days they had open, but that is a problem that could be fixed. Overall, a very fun and informative tour! Would totally recommend!

Tefal waffle machines in someone’s dining room
Bit of a strange experience. The tour guide spoke to us for 15 minutes about the 4 different types of waffles. Then walked us to a waffle shop where we stood outside for a bit. We were then taken to a shabby apartment, where 3 Tefal waffle machines were placed on their dining room table for us to make them. Given a brief 5 minute history about waffles. Proceeded to make them and the machines weren’t very ‘non stick’ so waffles didn’t come out properly. No ventilation in the room so smoke filled it which got unbearable eventually. All in all, not worth the money in my opinion.

My two friends and I did the waffle workshop and all agreed that it was the best part of our Brussels experience! It was super fun and our guide (effy, I'm sorry I don't know how to spell it) gave clear instructions and also gave us a lot of tips for our time in Brussels. I would recommend it to anyone I know going to Brussels, it's worth it.

Wonderful Family Fun
What a great experience! We had some trouble finding the place, but the hosts were gracious enough to come and find us and let us partake of the experience event though we were late. We had our sons ages 9 and 13--and everyone had a great time, full bellies and delicious waffles. Highly recommend this tour. A perfect local to site see as well. Thanks for some wonderful memories. BEST WAFFLES EVER!
This is one of the best things to do while in Brussels. This is the best Waffle Worksop in town and I highly encourage any and everyone to attend, it is worth your money. The guide provides all ingredients and instructions and you get to keep the recipe.

A good experience!
The waffles were delicious, the guide was funny and helpful, and overall it was a good experience. It's actually longer than 90 minutes, so be prepared for that. Also, there was some confusion whether people were making their own waffles or communal waffles (because it could be a COMMUNIST waffle workshop!). But all in all I had fun.

I would rate this tour a 5!
I really enjoyed myself and Titch was a great guide and teacher. He was really enthusiastic, laidback, and really let the participants go at their own risk and enjoy themselves as they were making waffles. He had alot of great information about waffles, Belgium, and Brussels so it was more than just waffles which was what I was hoping for. It was nothing over the top which is also my style so I am really glad I got to take advantage of this and have already recommended it to many of my friends if they ever decide to visit Brussels.

It was wonderful getting to learn something new with my husband while on vacation. The class was a great mix of ages and backgrounds and we all had a great time together. The chef was very knowledgeable and personable and the tour before the class was very informative. We vacationed for 2 weeks throughout Europe and this was one of my best memories. (The Waffle recipe is AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS)

The tour and workshop was great!
My friends and I now understand the difference between the two major waffles in Belgium and the history of each. The workshop was awesome as well. I loved how we had the chance to work with other people who came from other parts of the world in making the waffles. The tour and workshop was definitely well run, especially considering that it was all done by one person.

Everything was great.
The only thing I would recommend is offering water or drinks before we started the class. We were super thirsty. Also as a follow up, perhaps you can also email the recipe card for us as well on a lovely PDF or something. But it was very enjoyable. Thank you.

Being a big fan of waffles, I took the risk on signing up for this cooking class. The guide explains us that they have many different waffles style in Belgium and that the ones we would make were different than the ones you find in the streets. And yes, it was very different, the waffles were crispy, very different from sugar waffles you find in shops. I like mine with chocolate and banana, really delicious. It says you can eat as many as you want but it is very hard to eat more than 2 or 3!!!! but you can take them home if you want.
