We will meet at Grote Markt - the main square in the heart of Brussels, famous for its incredibly rich guild houses and town hall. Here we would like to learn you how to “read” the secret symbols of the Belgian facades and tell you how such people as Karl Marx, Che Guevara and Victor Hugo happened to become part of this city. After, we will visit a secret yard, where you can enjoy an incredible panoramic view of this square.
Strolling through the picturesque streets with lots of wonderful street graffiti, we will try to find Jeanneke Pis, Manneken Pis and, if we are lucky, we will happen to see one of them in his best suits or even hooked up to a keg of beer! Let’s have a coffee in one of the former puppet theatre just around the corner, where you can find out more about Manneken Pis and Belgian love to old theatre traditions.
Later we will discover Place Agora, Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, famous bars, Sint-Niklaaskerk, Maria Magdalenakerk, Sint-Katelijnekerk, famous bars, local design stores and other sightseeings of the lower city. And of course, we will definitely try some Belgian delicacies, such as local beer, snail soup or other dishes!

Moving toward the upper city, we will visit Mont des Arts - a beautiful city hill with a lot sculptures, surrounded by Royal Library of Belgium, the National Archives of Belgium and incredible art nouveau buildings! Let’s meet some local characters from Belgian history and folk culture, depicted on a large golden wall clockwork and discuss historical facts about Belgian provinces and its traditions.
Our road will brings us to an amazing sculpture park, Centre of Fine Arts Bozar, Royal Museums of Fine Arts famous for its collection of Bosch, Rubens and Van Dijk paintings. There we would like to recommend some places, that you might be interested in visiting after our tour.
