Mussels in Brussels Cooking Class

It was third time (or fourth?) at Iria and Else, and surely not the last one! The food was great: several appetizers, a very original and tasty flan with shrimps, followed by "I don't have words to describe" the main dish – so tasty mussels and yummy homemade fries, very nice dessert and drinks. Oh yes, the very drinks... Very good company as well. Old and new friends, not to mention Iria and Else – difficult to compete with them as hosts! Looking forward to the next one!

Lovely hosts who made every effort to treat their guests to a special evening. Everything was homemade, down to the delicious herbed mayonnaise.

This was the second event I attended hosted by these two superwomen. A crowd of 8 guests from 3 continents, we were spoiled with a few amuses bouche, followed by a three-course meal. The main attraction was the delicious mussels, accompanied by homemade fries and mayonnaise. As mussels have to swim, we had some very nice which wines. We ended the evening with a few (too many) shots of a variety of liquor. The ladies did not disappoint and were the perfect hosts. I'd say: rush to their next event!
