During your visit to the old town, be sure not to miss Hanul lui Manuc! Tourists and locals simply love it, because of its welcoming and unique appearance and because it provides refreshing shade in the torrid summer heat. After significant repair and renovation works they recently opened a Romanian and a Lebanese restaurant.
Built by an Armenian called Emanuel Mârzaian (Manuc), one of the richest and most influential merchants of his times in the Balkan region, Manuc's Inn was built about two hundred years ago, providing lodging and shelter for the caravans on their trade routes.
You can taste here the best mint lemonade in town during the hot summer months!
