I know this place is far from breaking any world record when it comes to the number of beers on offer (the title goes to a bar in Brussels with around 3000 varieties), however it’s Bucharest’s best with over 100 different brews. A large selection of reasonably priced beers ranging from Czech Pilsner to English ale make this place a local favourite.
If you’ve had enough of the classic Romanian blonde beer and are really missing the strong dark brews of Western Europe, you’re more then welcome here. It's quite a small place reminiscent of a German pub. Staff say that after a few drinks most customers start speaking Dutch...or something yet to be identified.
It’s quite small so it’s wise to book a table in advance, especially on rainy evenings.
