La Copac literally means “at the tree”. Indeed, there’s no better name for this restaurant as right in the middle of the courtyard there’s a huge mulberry tree offering shelter from the hot summer sun. Locals love hanging out and drinking homemade wine under the tree in the evenings. The atmosphere is very relaxed.

Tables are located inside an old house that is decorated in a traditional Romanian style with a contemporary edge. Apart from the regular dishes on offer, from time to time they host proper feasts including open-air barbeques, treats such as marmalade and stews made by the chefs together with the customers.
Relatively unknown local bands often perform here, especially on Fridays, providing the perfect soundtrack for a relaxing evening.
