You could try the Gradina Botanica (Botanical Gardens , a 22 min walk.
Muzeul Antipa, Natural History Museum , 20 mins walk.
A walk along the Dambovita River which flows through the heart of Bucharest and leads to the Old Historical district , Lipscani, well worth seeing. Probably an hour to get there.

Hi,
I would suggest you walk along Calea Victoriei up to the Revolution Square, so you get to see all the important sights there.
You could visit Enescu museum and have a stop for lemonade at Eden garden- very nice secluded beer garden behind Stirbey palace.
And don' t miss a visit at French Revolution - the best eclairs shop in town- and inside the Romanian Athenaeum.
