Well, Caru cu Bere or Lacrimi si sfinti. Actually, right now 7 -10 september is Bucharest Street Food festival at Romexpo. You should try it. There are lots of options. Search for it. Its called Bucharest Street food festival The Carnival.

Try Caru cu Bere or Hanul Lui Manuc.
For the first one the best if you make a reservation beforehand, but they usually have also some free tables.

Most people would recommend The Beer Wagon (Caru cu Bere) which is totally fine. The interior is wonderful, but it is kinda crowded.
Another option is Tears and saints (Lacrimi și sfinti), but it is quite expensive.
My personal favorite is La Copac (By the tree) which is maybe at 10 minutes walking distance from the old city center. The staff is nice and the recipes are delicious. If you go there, try out the deserts (maybe Gombot or Papanasi) - you will not regret it :)
