Hey! The cheaper option would be "la mahala", it is in the old center, on covaci street. Other nice options would be " lacrimi si sfinti" and maybe "paine si vin", a bit more expensive. You could also try " casa gorjana" and "restaurant vatra", which are more authentic.

most products are local and the bread and the wine come from the property of the owner of the restaurant .... really worth trying ! u wont regret it !

Hi! I would reccommend https://www.carucubere.ro/en/ (historical building) and http://www.lacrimisisfinti.com/en/ (modern reinterpretation). Both for the food and the restaurant design. Enjoy Bucharest :)

http://www.zexe.ro/ is the best in town. https://www.carucubere.ro/en/ is good too, but much more touristic - the building it's nice and old, It's worth to visit.
