For all fans of
The National Museum of Contemporary Art (MNAC)13
Why locals love it
The National Museum of Contemporary Art (MNAC) was open in 2001, activating Wing E4 of Parliament Palace since 2004, and in time it has become one of the most important contemporary art museums in Eastern Europe. It hosts very interesting temporary exhibitions on architecture, photography, sculpture and audio visual exhibitions.
Why you should visit it
This space is a challenge for exhibitors - Romanian and international artists, curators and art critics - and an opportunity to give it a new meaning through their unconventional and creative ideas. MNAC owns an impressive digital archive of the images of Romanian modern and contemporary art.
On the 4th floor you may stop for a coffee on the open-air terrace.
