Description

Our journey to Bucharest’s exciting surroundings begins at 8 am. We’ll start with the fascinating Mogoșoaia Palace, located in a beautiful area outside the city. It’s a great example of Brâncoveanu architecture, a common style o the Wallachia region. Today, the palace houses the Museum of Brâncoveanu Art and is an important tourist attraction.

We’ll then make our way to one of the most famous sights in Romania and the place where Dracula is supposed to be buried: the Snagov Monastery. It’s located on an island in the northern part of Snagov Lake. It was built by Mircea the Elder (Dracula’s grandfather), and the first written record of its existence dates back to 1408.

During its history, the monastery was rebuilt by Vlad the Impaler and several other rulers of Wallachia. It was one of the strongest fortified churches and possibly the richest in Wallachia during the Middle Ages.

At the end of the tour we’ll drop you off at your hotel.
