Description

We'll drive from Bucharest to Sinaia, where we’ll jump in our 4×4 off-road vehicles and cross the mountains via the beautiful Trans-Bucegi alpine road.

Stop 1: Camping Zănoaga
We’ll leave the cars behind and, after a bit of hiking, reach the entrance to the Zanoagei Gorge. Here, wilderness is at its best: a small stream passing between two giant walls of stone, abundant vegetation, and beautiful bridges from where you can take photos.

Stop 2: Bolboci Lake, the “sea of Bucegi”
Standing on top of the dam, you can admire the beautiful reflections of the lake. Next, we’ll take the cars on a 4 km, purely off-road trail up to the Bridge of Flowers plateau. The view from the top? Well, this is a surprise. No spoilers!

Stop 3: Ialomitei Cave and Monastery
A place of legends and myths, some being related to our ancestors – the ancient Dacian civilisation.

Stop 4: Padina Plateau
After visiting the cave and monastery, we’ll return to Padina and stop at a traditional log cabin for lunch. Finally, it’s back to Sinaia and then straight to Bucharest.
