Description

During this 2-hour tour you’ll see the Romanian Athenaeum – home of the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, the University Library, the Royal Palace, the National Museum of Contemporary Art, the former communist party building, and the square where the 1989 revolution took place.

You’ll then head towards the heart of the city, where you’ll hear the story of the University Square and discover the Old Town. You’ll pass the National Military Circle with the Sarindar Fountain, Bucharest University, the National Theatre, Sutu Palace, the Colțea Hospital, Church, and the monument to Mihail Cantacuzino, the Romanian Library Association building, Spiru Haret University, Lipscani Street, and the National Bank of Romania.

Next, you’ll discover the Macca-Villacrosse Passage, the Zlătari Church, the CEC bank building, the National History Museum, and the Stravopoleos Monastery.

At the end of the tour you’ll be amazed by the Old Princely Court and the St Anton Church, the Statue of Vlad the Impaler, Manuc's Inn, Unification Square, and finally the Palace of the Parliament – the second-largest building in the world.
