Snowshoeing on the hills in Transylvania

A delicious romanian meal

Description

You will be picked up in the morning, from your location. Then, you will enjoy a three hour scenic car ride on Prahova Valley, straight into the heart of Transylvania.
On the way you will admire the small towns and ski resorts on Prahova Valley, and the mountains and forests once we cross into Transylvania.
Get your camera ready as you will pass by the famous Bran Castle and take a few pictures from the outside. We will then continue to Moeciu village, close to Bran. We will put on the snowshoes and start exploring the hills.
There are many scenic options for snowshoeing in the area. On this tour we will climb the hills, go through forests, and see the rural life: people, barns, cows and sheep (if it is not too cold outside for them). And spectacular mountain tops, covered in snow, waiting to be photographed.
The activity takes around 4 - 5 hours in total, depending on the pace, the amount of snow, and weather.
After we get back to Moeciu village we will stop at a nice restaurant for a well deserved romanian meal.
We will arrive in Bucharest in the late evening. Drop off at the hotel.

Important: the tour takes place only if there is enough snow.
