Go wild in a place where wild lives. Dating back to 1866, the zoo has been redeveloped over time and now stands as one of Budapest's greatest attractions. Classical architecture is still present. The elephant house is an example of Secession style while the bird house was built in a folk style.

It houses creatures large and small and it's appeal is to animal lovers and those who feel like going animal Style. Budapest Zoo is a superb excursion close to Heroe's Square.
Special tip
Check out the aviary, where birds fly freely. There is a Childrens Zoo as well!
