Hungarians are proud of their great talents and like to visit their flats where they lived. Zoltan Kodaly created relativ solmisation (do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, do) and Kodaly Method (still used throughout the world) teach music for children so they can grow up with it. He collected our folklore songs with his lifelong friend Bela Bartok.

You can see someone special's flat, the table where he had his lunch with his wife, the pianos where he composed music, his desk and library, colourful tile stoves keeps the rooms warm and you can take your time check out all the photos, sculptures, antique radio and record player, personal letters corresponding with poets and other music lovers.
Fresh flowers in the flat are provided by his wife Sarolta Péczely who is in her 70’s. There is a concert hall in the underground. Book 2 days prior.
