Holy crap, both of the previous answers are spectacularly awful. Trófea might as well relabel themselves Troughea.

Actually good traditional restaurants include:
- cheap: Pozsonyi Kisvendéglő, Kádár Étkezde, Kék Rózsa, Ruben
- mid to upper mid range: Két Szerecsen, Kéhli, Kispiac, Rosenstein (the best!), Paletta
- nu-Hungarian: Stand25, Bock, Klassz

My favorite is upstairs at the main market--Central Market Hall. Otherwise, there are great local business lunches--daily menus from $6 for 3 courses including drinks. Check tripadvisor for reviews. Also Szimpla Kert ruin bar market has a Sunday brunch that is great.

Hello. My recommendation is the Trofea restaurant chain. They restaurants in different locations in Budapest. There is an all inclusive service, all types of foods and also drinks are included. ( it's like 13 € ).Good service and big selection of local foods.
