Description
I will take you on a walk of Budapest's history starting with BC times, going on to the medieval years, then visiting famous buildings of the majestic 19th and chaotic 20th centuries.
Among others you will see the most iconic places of the 1848 and 1956 Hungarian revolutions.
To see the charming side of Pest I will show you:
- the most famous universities of our country
- where the locals like to take their kids out
- where do chefs shop for groceries
- the best brunch place of Pest
- a couple of special cafés!
- the most quiet and calm streets of the downtown
To recharge our batteries, in the middle of the tour we will take a coffee break in one of Budapest's best cafés!
Please note that:
- even tough it is more of an alternative tour, you can take it on your first day in Budapest, as we will spend time in the historical parts of the city, and you will get tips for the later parts of your trip
- we will spend only half of the time outdoors, there will be multiple stops, so the tour is enjoyable in bad weather conditions aswell!
- but please come in comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella, just in case
