We have had a wonderful trip from Budapest to Vienna with an incredible girl. She has been tireless, funny and really competent. Description
Join our fun and easy-going tour from Budapest to Vienna. This 9-hour road trip - led by a knowledgeable local guide - is your chance to learn about the history, culture and most importantly the people of Hungary.
We start the day with a stroll around the Gothic-style Tata Castle on the lakeside before continuing to Győr to admire the colourful baroque houses and walk around its scenic streets. We'll have lunch in Győr (not included).
After lunch we'll head on to the Hungarian Versailles – the luxurious rococo masterpiece belonging to the Eszterházy family with its manicured gardens. Entrance to the palace is for an additional fee, but can be arranged upon request.
In the late afternoon we'll drive through the countryside to reach our final stop in the far west of Hungary where you'll be able to admire the red roofs of the scenic town of Sopron before arriving in Vienna.
Tour limited to a maximum of 8 people.
